WLC GIVES BACK – ACE MENTORS FROM WLC STAFF WORKING WITH A NEW GENERATION OF ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS

ACE Mentor Inland Empire is part of the national ACE organization founded in 1994 in New York City. It is now into its fourth year with an active program at four regional high schools – Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, Eisenhower High School in Rialto, and Santiago High School in Corona.

Professionals from the fields of Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) contribute their time and expertise to the program on a volunteer basis. Through these mentors, students within the program are ex- posed to the possibilities of a career in these design and construction industries. Students in the program are introduced to the various facets of their chosen profession through guest speakers and actual design projects that challenge their creativity.

The 2017 Student Presentation and Graduation was held May 11th at the Frontier Project at the Cucamonga Valley Water District. At WLC, we are pleased to support the ACE Mentor Inland Empire program with the following staff members:

Mark Graham, AIA, Principal
Karla Alonzo De Leon, Senior Project Manager
Chris Stanford, Design Team
