Ability presents a body of architecture for client organizations

Facility Ability
The Facility Ability is written periodically throughout the year about school facility issues pertaining to the California School Facilities Program and school construction in general. The articles are written from a layman’s point of view in which an absolute working knowledge of the program is not required. The magazine is targeted at senior level school district management. The authors include principal architects, project manager architects, construction managers, facility planners, and educational resource consultants. Guest contributors and interviews with clients and state agency personnel round off the publication’s approach.

Green Ability
The impact of past, present and future development on the environment, and how it will dramatically affect our future quality of life, is a major concern and offers many challenges and opportunities. WLC has completed a variety of demonstration, educational, and interpretive projects that have
involved the preservation of natural habitats, have become
models for energy efficiency, and have pioneered recycled
building concepts through modernization and adaptive reuse.
Along with this experience, WLC brings a stellar team of
qualified sustainable design professionals to the project. WLC
is a member of CHPS, the United States Green Building
Council (USGBC), and has participated with USGBC’s
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
program on a variety of projects.
