Vista Murrieta High School - CTE Addition
Vista Murrieta High School - Career Technical Education Addition
Courses in cybersecurity, manufacturing and food services will soon be offered in a new two-story building at Vista Murrieta High School.
The plan is to open the facility with 11 classrooms dedicated to career technical education. The building, which will include two rooms for other courses, will cost almost $11 million. It will replace nearly a dozen portable classrooms.
The new building will pool together current career-focused courses including audio technology, law enforcement and sports medicine and sprinkle in new ones, such as cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing.
In addition to the classrooms, the building will have a sound booth and computer networking equipment.
The new courses are part of the District’s larger focus on career technical education.
